The traveling permanent-lighting team is a dedicated crew designed to complete permanent architectural-lighting projects outside the Chicago market as Holiday Prestige expands into additional states beginning in early 2027.
Potential markets may include Florida, Texas, Tennessee, Illinois, and other Midwest or Southern markets as project demand and business expansion develop. Travel locations are not guaranteed and may change based on opportunity.
Traveling installers perform the same precision permanent-lighting work as local installers, with the added responsibility of representing Holiday Prestige professionally while moving between markets and operating with greater independence from the home office.

Applicants should be prepared for travel rotations that may last approximately one to three weeks at a time, with driving, flights, overnight lodging, and changing market assignments depending on the project schedule.
This role is intentionally separate from the local permanent-lighting position because someone who wants to go home every night and someone who enjoys extended travel are choosing two different lifestyles.
The best traveling installers are reliable, self-controlled, physically capable, easy to live and work around, and able to stay professional even when the crew is away from home for an extended period.
A growing company can create advancement opportunities faster than a company that has already decided exactly how many crews, territories, and managers it will ever need.
Holiday Prestige was founded in 2018 and remains hands-on and owner-led. The company has acquired two businesses over the past several years, is expanding its local service capacity, and plans to pursue additional opportunities in Chicagoland and outside Illinois as the right opportunities become available.
That growth can create hard-to-reach opportunities for employees who prove they are dependable, capable, coachable, and ready for more responsibility — from crew leadership and specialized installation to sales leadership, traveling teams, operations, and future market roles.
Early traveling-team members can help establish the operating standard for future markets, which can create a path toward senior installer, traveling crew leader, market-launch lead, regional installation supervisor, and other expansion roles as Holiday Prestige grows.
Holiday Prestige hires for attitude, reliability, safety, professionalism, and the willingness to learn. Skill matters, but the best long-term employees are people others can count on.
Most strong tradespeople want a boss who understands the work, communicates clearly, pays attention to what happens in the field, expects high standards, and treats good employees with respect.
Holiday Prestige founder Phillip Herrejon comes from a blue-collar, hands-on operating background and remains involved in the business day to day. His management philosophy is straightforward: stay humble, work hard, take care of the people who take care of the company, and build relationships that can last beyond a single season or project.
Holiday Prestige is not trying to create a culture where employees are anonymous numbers. The goal is to build strong crews and long-term working relationships, while still holding everyone — including leadership — accountable for doing the job correctly.
