Will you see the lights during the day?
The channel is color-matched and low-profile, so it blends in. Diodes are minimally visible up close; from the street most systems read clean and discreet.
How long does it last?
Systems are designed for years of outdoor use. Actual lifespan depends on run time, brightness levels, and exposure. We specify commercial-grade LEDs, sealed connections, and surge protection options.
Is it okay for Chicago winters?
Yes. Components are outdoor-rated and installed with proper drip edges, strain relief, and sealed terminations. We also balance power/data runs for cold-weather reliability.
Can it do both warm-white and color?
Yes. Signature provides RGB color; Prestige Elite adds RGBW pixels for advanced animations and smoother warm-white. Essentials focuses on architectural warm-white with simple scenes.
Do I need Wi-Fi for it to work?
The controller runs scheduled scenes on its own. Wi-Fi/Internet is only required for app control, remote access, or cloud features when enabled.
Will it bother neighbors or violate HOA rules?
We can set brightness limits, default to warm-white architectural modes, and provide photo examples for HOA review. Many clients keep everyday scenes subtle and enable color for special dates.
How is pricing determined?
Total linear footage, number of zones/controllers, access (heights/steep roofs), power availability, and options like pixel effects or downlights. Proposals clearly itemize base package and add-ons.
What’s the installation like?
Most homes are completed in a day. We mount channel, run power/data neatly, aim and test at night, and provide an owner app walk-through with saved presets.
What about maintenance and cleaning?
We recommend a light annual wipe-down and a quick system check. Optional service plans cover cleaning, re-aiming, firmware updates, and priority support.
